Terms of Service

1. Service description

Kavim provides institutional art market intelligence, including the KAI score, artist coverage data, compliance frameworks, and analytical tools. The platform is designed for professional use by advisors, family offices, art funds, and institutional collectors. Kavim is not a financial advisor, art dealer, or valuation service.

2. Not investment or valuation advice

Kavim provides quantitative signal only. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, artwork valuation, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.

All scores, verdicts, and analyses are produced by algorithmic models and are provided for informational purposes only. Past performance of any artist or market segment does not guarantee future results. Users are solely responsible for their investment and acquisition decisions.

3. Eligibility and accounts

Kavim is intended for professional and institutional users. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are listed in EUR and exclude applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

5. Intellectual property

All content on Kavim — including the KAI methodology, scores, analyses, research, and software — is the exclusive property of Kavim and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

6. Permitted use

You may use Kavim for your own internal professional purposes. You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Kavim data or content.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform.
  • Reverse-engineer the KAI methodology or scoring models.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kavim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to investment losses, data loss, or business interruption. Kavim's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Kavim reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
